Port Blair, Oct 09: On 7th October 2020, a mobile Squad team comprising of Mr. Uttam Kumar Mistry Forest Guard, Mr.KN Ganguly, Forest Guard, Mr. Trakeshwasr Rao, Forest Guard and mazdoor namely Mr. Paul Mark, Mr. Monobindro Halder and Mr. Ganesh patrolled Deewal Tikery inside Jarawa Reserve Forest and removed 42 of plastic traps and five decomposed bodies of Spotted Deer. The team was able to release one Water Monitor Lizard and one Andaman Wild Boar safely back into forest from traps.
On 8th October staffs of Tushnabad range comprising of Mohd Shabir Forester, EM Mohd Haneefa Forest Guard and mazdoor Mr. Manick Halder, Mr. S. Ramesh , Mohd Younus, Mr. Abdul Rasheed and Mr. Eliza conducted patrolling inside forest area near Caddlegunj and detected one country liquor furnace and destroyed approx 130 liter of Lehans.
