Port Blair, September 18: Three more Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from Billyground, North and Middle Andaman. It was learnt that, earlier two Covid-19 positive cases were already found in the Billyground region.
As per information received, out of two positive cases, one patient was referred to G.B Pant hospital, Port Blair and the other one was isolated in Covid Care Centre R.P Hospital, Mayabunder.
Today three more cases have been reported. Before boarding the bus for Rangat from Billyground, when some of the passengers admitted that they are feeling unwell, the information was passed to the Covid Care team following which they underwent Covid tests and among eight people three came out to be Covid-19 positive.
As per details the District Administration team has already started contact tracing works. All these three Covid-19 positive patients have been admitted in RP Hospital, Mayabunder.
