Port Blair, September 16: The Deputy Commissioner, Nicobar today issued an order in which it has been made mandatory for all the passengers traveling from Nicobar group of islands to undergo Rapid Antigen Test.
According to the order issued, all outbound passengers from Car Nicobar, Nancowry group of islands and Great Nicobar intending to avail ship and helicopter services have to compulsorily undergo Rapid Antigen test at cost of Rs.500/- per head.
The order further stated that, cost of the test shall be borne by the passengers themselves except the medical patients who are referred and Govt. officers/officials on duty.
