Billyground, August 14: In a laudable step the members of Billyground Bazaar Committee have themselves decided to close all the shops, except those selling essential commodities, till 18th of August 2020.
Although the fishermen community has gone against the decision, taken by the members of Billyground Bazaar Committee as well as the Pradhan, it is learnt.
The Pradhan of the region has once again requested the Fishermen Community of the area and urged them not to sell their catch in the market till the 18th of August 2020.
As maximum crowd is often seen in fish market, the Pradhan has also registered a complaint to the Police of the region yesterday following which the Fishermen in the fish market were asked to return home.
Other than the fishermen of the region, other businessmen have shown good responsibility during this pandemic and have not waited for Administration’s order to act. Their message is simple, no crowding for some weeks will certainly break the chain of COVID19 virus.
