Great Nicobar, July 29: Sudden cancellation of the sailing of MV Coral Queen has not only left Islanders of Great Nicobar upset but also disappointed the local businessmen.
People who reached STARS counter today to buy tickets for MV Coral Queen as per shipping schedule published by Administration earlier were upset to see that the sailing has been cancelled. They have been now told that MV Campbell Bay will sail for Great Nicobar in the place of MV Coral Queen.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha some businessmen have expressed their disappointment over this issue, as they have already booked their cargo in MV Coral Queen but now as MV Campbell Bay is coming , they fear that their cargo won’t reach Great Nicobar on time as MV Campbell Bay has less cargo carrying option, when compared to MV Coral Queen.
They demanded that on public demand MV Coral Queen must be sent to Great Nicobar.
