Port Blair, Sep 20: Special Olympic Bharat is organizing a state level Special Olympics for intellectually challenged people above eight years of age for the first time in the Islands.
The state level Special Olympics will start from 30th Sept and continue to 2nd Oct 2012 at Port Blair. Accommodation, boarding, lodging & ship fares (bunk-class to & fro) will be provided to the inter Island participant and one escort.
Eligible applicants are requested to contact Mr S Murugesan (9933247579) and Smti Neeta Agrawal (9679599887) for registering their names before 25th Sept 2012 with complete details and applicants are requested to report latest by 29th Sep 2012 evening at Port Blair. A valid disability certificate from medical board has to be produced at the time of reporting.
Students may also enroll with the education department in their respective areas and general public may contact the officials as mentioned above.
