Kadamtala, July 12: A team of PS Kadamtala rescued a family from low lying area of Broomvalley, Kadamtala, during wee hours today, when the entire area god inundated in rain water due to heavy rain and also due to blockage of drains due to ATR upgradation works.
As per details the PS Kadamtala received a distress call by 3.00 am in the morning and by 3.30 am the family was moved to a safe place by the Police Team. The family was unable to come out of the home due to confusion and fear. The family was later shifted to some relatives’ house.
The team of PS Kadamtala consisted of SI Deepak Kr Xaxa, ASI Subhash Mazumdar, HC / Bhaskar Rao, PC / Gafoor, PC / C. Shiab udheen and PC Driver CH Prakash Rao. People of Kadamtala lauded the efforts of PS Kadamtala Staffs.
Meanwhile PS Kadamtala has alerted people of the region of risk due to ongoing ATR upgradation works and chances of land sliding and flooding of water. The PS Kadamtala has also intimated concerned NHIDCL contractors to keep public safety in mind.
