Port Blair, June 22: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament, A&N Islands has requested the Director of Transport, A&N Administration to resume the express bus service of STS between Baratang and Port Blair and vice versa which was suspended owing to impact of lockdown since 19th March, 2020. He said due to non resumption of express Bus service, the villagers are facing great difficulties to proceed to Port Blair and return on the same day after attending their essential works, in which they were doing earlier. Thus he requested to resume the
express bus service of STS between Baratang and Port Blair and vice versa at the earliest to facilitate the residents of Baratang Island.
