Port Blair, May 13: A 30-year-old man namely Mr. Tejas, a resident of Dairy Farm, Fisheries Colony poured kerosene on him and with the help of matchstick set himself on fire under the heavy influence of alcohol yesterday, sources said. As per reports, the man was a habitual drunkard, and recently his wife has left him.
As per reports, this was the reason the man was under tremendous stress and took this extreme step.
However, immediately after the incident the family members and the neighbors shifted the man to the GB Pant Hospital but as per reports there the man sustained 90 percent burn injuries and he is currently in a very critical condition.
