Port Blair, April 22: Short- Circuit resulted in a major fire at a house constructed of the mat at Ranchi Tikry, Dairy Farm yesterday at 08:14 pm. Fortunately, immediate steps by the Fire Services stopped the fire from spreading to the nearby houses. No one suffered any injuries in the incident, however, a loss of Rs. 35000 has been reported by the house owner. Around four fire tenders left for the spot to avert the fire, it is learned.
