Great Nicobar, April 19: Making good use of the idea given by the acting Assistant Commissioner, Great Nicobar, Mrs. Lalita Tigga, a housewife cum Social Worker Mrs. Filista Khujur has become successful in designing hand gloves from eco-friendly garbage bags to support the sanitary workers during this pandemic.
As per reports, the cost of designing these innovative hand gloves is Rs 70, which Mrs. Filista Khujur contributes from her own savings and distributes each set carrying 46 pairs of hand gloves to the sanitary workers of the region free of cost.
Mrs. Khujur just uses a mould and a shouldering machine to design these hand gloves. Mrs. Khujur has expressed her gratitude towards the acting Assistant Commissioner, Great Nicobar as her idea has motivated her to create the hand gloves, which in return has brought big relief for the sanitary workers of the region.
