Port Blair, Apr. 15: Due to lockdown the people residing in remote villages of Baratang were unable to collect their ration. When the matter came to the knowledge of police unit, the truck attached with PS Baratang was diverted for their help. Yesterday under the command of SHO PS Baratang and under the direction of DySP and overall supervision of SP North and Middle Andaman ration articles were delivered by police vehicle. Villages of Bamboo Nallah Village, consisting of 10 families, Bolcha – 08 families, Jarawa Creek-12 families, total 30 families were benefited.
