Port Blair, Apr 07: Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, the former MP, on behalf of SATSANG, Lambaline, Port Blair collected rice and distributed to the poor & needy, particularly the Auto drivers of Municipal area/ Barbers of PBMC area/Coolie labour of Bazaar/poor people surrounding Satsang temple area (dairy Farm, School line Ranchi basti, lambaline etc @ 10 Kg per family. Total quantity distributed so far is 5.5 tonnes as on date (06/04/2020).
“I am grateful to the citizens of Port Blair Municipal area for their contributions gladly/ voluntarily and none refused the help as requested by me. This has given me a sense of indebtness towards these good souls whom I thank from the bottom of my heart for their contributions,” Mr. Ray said in his release.
