Port Blair, Apr 01: During the difficult time of lockdown internet services are considered to be the lifeline for people across world but sadly in Andaman the internet speed has become a major source of stress for the users, making this lockdown further stressful for the public.
Huge demands are pouring in from every corner of Andaman and Nicobar Islands to allow high speed internet through Submarine OFC to all the islanders but it seems that these requests are falling on deaf ears.
When the Government of India has already spent crores of rupees for the submarine OFC project then after completion of project why the administration is not providing the service to the Islanders, is not yet known.
Public are asking whether show-off launching of this project by some VIPs is more important than the need of actual users who are presently struggling in isolation during the lockdown period.
