Port Blair, Feb 24: PBMC with the assistance of Andaman & Nicobar Police conducted the third drive on 23-02-2020 at Junglighat Sunday Market and fined five violators amongst them two were general public and other three were vendors for using single use plastic in the market.
It has been noticed in the drive that the citizens of Port Blair are gradually learning the norms of Solid Waste Management and the number of violators against Solid Waste Management is reduced drastically.
During the drive nine vendors were warned to not to vend in Parking zone leading from Goalghar Petrol Pump to Junglighat Burning Ghat and they were advised to clear the parking space stretch .
PBMC appreciates the vendors who were maintained the Sunday Market neat clean and tidy on 23.02.2020.
