Port Blair, Sept 09: The newly elected members of the Board of Directors of Consumers Cooperative Society have started taking special care for its consumers in various ways viz procurement and delivery of quality items, timely supply and controlling over the prices of the essential commodities.
Since they have noticed that the consumers of Hutbay are facing problems in the old dilapidated building due to shortage of space inside and outside , the CCS has shifted its outlet to a good specious building at RK Pur itself which was inaugurated by the Chairman, Mr. R V Reddy on 7th September 2012.
In the inauguration ceremony, apart from the large numbers of local residents, the Directors of CCS Mr. Abdul Siddique, G.Prasad RAo, Divakar Das and Surya Narayana , Pradhan and PRI members were also present.
