Port Blair, Sept 06: One of the premier banks in the country, the Bank of India is going to open its first branch in Andamans. It will be opened at Port Blair tomorrow(7th September), on the befitting occasion of 106th foundation day celebration of the bank.
The Chairman cum Managing Director of Bank of India, Shri Alok Mishra will inaugurate the new branch at Church lane near Caramel School at Port Blair tomorrow morning.
The Port Blair branch will provide modernized customer friendly services to the islanders to meet their personal and business needs. The wide range of services include any where banking, mobile banking, , internet banking, online trading, investment banking, salary savings plus scheme and sale of gold coins.
Bank of India is having its wide network with more than 400 branches across the country and abroad and the new branch at Port Blair is a result of its efforts to expand its services to the remotest corners of the country.(PIB)
