Port Blair, Jan 27: A man namely Arun Monda, S/of Pada Monda, a resident of Garacharma was arrested on 25th January at Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair, for making hoax claim of carrying bomb.
As per reports, the man under inebriated state after boarding, when went inside to board the SpiceJet flight SG 279 towards Kolkata said an employee of Spice Jet while checking that he is carrying a time bomb which will soon blast.
The SpiceJet employee then immediately reported the matter to the CISF personnel on duty but after checking no explosive was found from his belongings.
The CISF personnel then took custody of the man and handed him over to the Aberdeen Police Station. A case has been registered by the Aberdeen Police Station against the man for making hoax claims about bomb and disturbing government servants in this regard.
