Port Blair, Jan 23: A woman namely C Gain, a resident of Laxmanpur, Bakultala yesterday committed suicide by hanging herself with a tree, situated near a dry nallah close to her house.
According to reports the woman was suffering from high blood pressure and took this extreme step due to illness at around 1.00 PM yesterday.
A case has been registered at PS Rangat and police is investigating the matter further.
