Great Nicobar, Jan 21: The eight crew members of the French Yacht, namely SY AROUEL, which reached Campbell Bay in distress on 19 Jan 2020 is being given all assistance at Campbell Bay. However, according to sources the crew members are not allowed to leave the Yacht as the immigration process is not completed yet.
As per reports, eight people are sailing in the Yacht, two women and six men including the Master and crew. The Yacht sailed for Gale, Sri Lanka from Phuket, Thailand on 10 January 2020 but soon ran out of ration items and water and hence in distress it reached Campbell Bay.
