Port Blair, Jan 16: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament has requested the Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration to issue necessary instructions to the concerned authorities to redress and resolve some crucial demands of R.K. Pur, V.K. Pur and Rabindra Nagar of Little Andaman:
The demands are to installation of Ultra Sonography machine at PHC, RK Pur;. Since the PHC RK Pur covers the maximum population of the Little Andaman Island, posting of sufficient medical staff including ANM, Junior Investigator and office Clerk etc at PHC RK Pur urgently required; construction of new Ongi Guest house at R.K. Pur near Ongi OPD; appointment of separate Medical staff for Ongi communities for Ongi OPD at PHC RK Pur; Regular posting of DEO and Principal for Govt. Sr. Secondary School, R.K. Pur and filling up/posting of all the vacant posts teaching and non-teaching staff at Govt. Sr. Secondary School, RK Pur; Posting of sufficient staff at SBI Branch, Ramakrishna Pur and re-establishment of sale depot for Timber at VK Pur Range Office.
