Port Blair, Sept 05: Total 425 NCC cadets from Army Senior Division Boys, Junior Division Boys, Senior Wing Girls and Air Wing JD cadets representing JNRM and all schools from Diglipur to extreme South in Campbell Bay are getting life time exposure on a 12 day Annual Training Camp (ATC) being conducted at ITF Ground, Port Blair. The Camp started on Sept 2, 2012.
Talking to Andaman Sheekha the Camp Commandant, Mr S.P.Gupta said that the camp authority starts various training from 5:30 am which ends at 09:30 pm.
“The training involves firing, tree plantation, blood donation, cultural programmes and drills. Various games are also organised for them like Kabbadi, Volleyball, Tug of war and cricket,” Mr. Gupta said.
Later talking to Andaman Sheekha the Administrative Officer of the camp, Dr Jai Kumar said that this training is good for the future of all cadets as training like this, makes them ready for Indian Army and various other jobs.
