Port Blair, Dec 24: Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President, Pradesh Congress Committee & all senior leaders of the Congress Party have offered heartfelt condolences on the sad demise of Smti Shanti Malhotra w/o Shri MS Malhotra, R/o Phoenix Bay, aged 90 years who left for heavenly abode in the evening of 23rd December, 2019. Expressing profound grief Shri Kuldeep expressed that the people of these islands will remember Smit Shanti Malhotra as dynamic social worker who has selflessly worked for the social causes of the poor and underprivileged women of our Islands. Acknowledging her prolonged and dedicated service towards the islanders she was appointed as Councillor in the Port Blair Municipal Council by the Lt Governor during the period the period 1990-95, Member of Parliament said.
Member of Parliament has also deeply mourned the death of Janab AH Noor Mohammed S/o Late Abdul Wahab, Retired music teacher, R/o Dean Street, Junglighat, aged 73 years who left for eternal abode on today the 24th December, 2019 .
Shri Sharma all leaders have prayed to Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed souls and strength to their family members.
