Port Blair, Dec 12: The National Student’s Union of India (NSUI) and Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) jointly felicitated Inspector Sanjay Kumar (SHO) Aberdeen Police Station for receiving the best police station award from the Honourable Home Minister of India in all India level.
NSUI & PYC expressed sincere gratitude towards Inspector Sanjay Kumar, who after been appointed as SHO of Aberdeen PS cracked plenty of NDPS cases and many drug peddlers/ criminals were send behind the bars.
“As the issue of drug is increasing day by day in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and it is darkening the life and future of Students as well as Youth of these Islands’, Inspector Shri. Sanjay Kumar played a vital role in reducing the criminal and solving narcotics cases across the islands. Due to Inspector Sanjay Kumar and his team’s hardwork and dedication towards public welfare, today Port Blair is far more safer and is leading towards drug free society,” a release from NSUI said here today.
NSUI and PYC visited PS Aberdeen where Mr. M.A Sajid, State President of NSUI, A&N Islands along with Mr. John Robert, State President of PYC, A&N Islands and Mr. Maheshwaran, President JNRM Student Council felicitated Inspector Sanjay Kumar with bouquet.
Mr. Mohd Zubair, City President of PYC and Mr. Najib Siddiqui, State General Secretary, PYC felicitated Inspector Sanjay Kumar with Shawl. Mr. Saurav Nair, Member of Secretariat Student Council & State General Secretaries of NSUI, Mr. Reshab Shaw, Mr. Nishit Biswas, State General Secretary of NSUI. Mr Anick Das Mr R. Plato, Mr Rajeev, State Secretaries of NSUI, Usman Mohd, President NSUI JNRM Unit, Mr Pramod, City General Secretary of PYC and Bala Murugan Servai, Social Worker were also present for honouring and expressed gratitude towards Inspector Sanjay Kumar, SHO Aberdeen PS.
