Port Blair, Dec 09: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), A&N Islands organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of “Hutatma Divas” on 08-12-2019 Sunday at Vivekanda Kendiriya Vidyalaya campus, Lamba Line, Port Blair.
Dr. Omkar Singh, Director of Health Services graced the occasion as chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, he lauded the effort taken by VHP in organizing blood donation camp for the noble cause and said that here in this islands blood donation becoming a selfless service where donors never expects anything in return.
Speaking on the occasion Shri- S. K. Roy, Vice-President of the organization detailed the purpose of organizing blood donation camp by VHP on this day. He expressed gratitude to the DHS for deploying team of officials during the camp. Altogether 51 units of blood donated by the volunteers, workers and donors from the organization.
