Port Blair, Dec 03: Mr. Sanjay Meshack, a social worker of Prothrapur has written letters to the Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and also to the Chairperson, Nation Commission of SC & ST highlighting the incident that occurred on the 25th October 2019, in which the present AC (HQ), Port Blair, have allegedly misbehaved with the Tehsildar Port Blair, in presence of public & Sub-ordinate staffs in his chamber.
In his letter, Mr. Meshack said that now the Tehsildar Port Blair has been immediately transferred to Southern group of Islands, where he had already completed last four years.
“The Islanders demand strict action against Assistant commissioner (HQ), Port Blair for misbehaving with the Tehsildar, Port Blair, (Tribal & Local officer), so that none of the officers in future misbehave like that in the presence of Public & Sub-Ordinate Staffs,” Mr. Meshack added in his letter.
