Billyground, Nov 28: Public of Middle Andaman are fuming over indiscriminate power cuts in the region, especially from Amkunj area to Mayabunder region.
According to villagers since last three to four days there are continuous power cuts of two to three hours after gaps of some hours.
“It is becoming intolerable. Student community is worst hit because this is the exam season,” said a villager of Billyground.
According to Andaman Sheekha Correspondent no officials of electricity department are available in Middle Andaman to tell public about the actual cause behind these power cuts.
Several public leaders of Middle Andaman told Andaman Sheekha correspondent that they are planning to organize massive protest against electricity department if situation does not improve in coming days.
