Port Blair, Nov 25: The Principal Secretary, Health, Mr KR Meena inaugurated a MIOT Hospitals outreach clinic at Port Blair at a function held in the conference hall of the Megapode Resort yesterday evening.
At an event organized by the MIOT International, Chennai Mr K. R. Meena, Principal Secretary Health, Andaman and Nicobar Administration praised MIOT International for starting an outreach clinic at remote Andaman and Nicobar Islands. He said that this launch will be and added asset inventory to the already available health facilities in these Islands.
He said that this will provide health facilities available to the needy in the Islands. He also emphasized the benefits of Ayushman Bharat schemes to the gathering.
Later, welcoming the gathering, Managing Director of MIOT International Dr. Prithvi Mohandas briefed the journey of MIOT Hospitals from the beginning.
Dr. Prithvi Mohandas also informed that near the school of Dignabad in the city of Port Blair the outreach clinic of MIOT Hospital will start its functioning and provide services to the people of these Islands.
Two patients of MIOT Mr. Hemchander and Mr. Vignesh also shared their positive experience about the Hospital on the occasion.
