Port Blair, Nov 15: Due to technical glitch today a lift of G B Pant Hospital, situated near labour ward got struck for nearly 40 minutes. One patient and one attendant were reportedly struck inside the lift for these horrifying 40 minutes. Later some DRM workers of DHS managed to bring out the patient and the attendant.
When contacted the Director of Health Services today said that he is unaware of any such incident but assured to inquire about this matter tomorrow.
