Port Blair, Nov 01: A Bengali book titled ‘ Port Blair Kalibarir Suchana’ (History of establishment of Port Blair Kali Bari) written by ninety year’s old veteran personality of the city Mr. K. D. Bose has been unveiled in presence of distinguished guests, Dr. Jyotirmoy Roychowdhury, JNRM , Dr. Ramkanta Halder , Dr. Ratan Chandra Kar, Mrs. Manikuntala Halder at the evening of Deepavali at the premises of the temple.
Fifty three years ago the temple was established on 14th April of 1966 by efforts of Islanders. Baasbhumi prakashan of Berhampore , West Bengal has published this book and it will be available at the office of the temple Committee as the copyright has been dedicated by the author to the temple committee.
