Port Blair, Oct 18: The ‘Global Iodine Deficiency Disorders Prevention Day’ will be observed in A&N Islands on 21st October, 2019 along with entire country. To mark the day, Health Department going to organize various awareness programme throughout A & N Islands to create awareness among the general public about consumption of Iodized salt for prevention of Iodine Deficiency Disorders. The State Level function will be held at Community Hall, Prothrapur on 21st October, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Mrs. Kriti Garg, Secretary (Health), A&N Administration, Port Blair will be the Chief Guest.
