Port Blair, Sept 16: The PANKH, NGO has taken up an initiative wherein planned to form problem solving clubs by conducting seminars at schools here in city. PANKH NGO founder president Mrs. Komal Anand and her team members Ms. Ruchi Ahuja, Social activist, Ms. Mariya Sheela , Councilor Prayas are involved in this project.
The subject “Inspired youth for inspiring society” was chosen and 4 schools were covered in last month. Rolling trophy has also been introduced, which shall be handed over to schools based on the participation of the students.
St Mary’s School, Bathu Basti got the rolling trophy for this month and the club comprising 19 students was inaugurated by Ms. Geetika Sharma, Secretary, Social Welfare.
Pankh has clubbed with St. Mary’s school and adopted Brookshabad village and is going to work for the betterment of the villagers there.
Ms. Geetika Sharma, Secretary, Social welfare congratulated the students of St Mary’s school. I am really happy to see the younger generation have come forward with their own idea for social cause, Students have to play an important roll in the society, to change the society.
Mrs. Komal Anand, PANKH, Founder President expressed her gratitude to the Principal of the St Mary’s School, Bathu Basti , including the teachers. She appreciated the efforts and dedication of the students.
