Port Blair, Sept 25: Under the banner of Hindi fortnight one day academic seminar was organized on 24 September 2019 by ANRC, Anthropological Survey of India at conference hall.
The program was formally inaugurated by lighting of lamp, Saraswati Vandana and felicitating the guests by Dr. Nilanjan Khatua, Head of Office, Dr.Koel Mukherjee, Anthropologist and other Officials. The experts such as Shri Rajendra Indwar, Deputy Secretary, Official Language, and Secretary, TOLIC, Dr. Uttam Singh, Head of Office, Central Research Council, AYUSH Ministry, Government of India, Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava, Senior Technical Officer, Officer-in-Charge, Official Language, Central Island Agricultural Institute, Port Blair and Ms. Kalpana Verma, OIC,Official Language , Audit Department deliberated on Rajbhasha. A special talk was delivered by Dr. Uttam Singh focusing the ongoing National Nutrition Mission, Poshan Abhiyan, Government of India. The session was chaired by Prof. Vyash mani Tripathi, Associate Professor, Hindi Department, JNRM College. The seminar was convened and coordinated by Ms. Banita Behera, O.I.C, Rajabhasha. Prize were distributed to the winner employees of fortinight competitions on the Occasion. Vote of thanks were given by Ms.Rakhi Kumari, Research Associate. The program was dully broadcast by DD-Port Blair.
