Port Blair, Sept 25: The Wimberlygunj Shopkeepers Association in association with South Andaman Forest Division, Wimberlygunj Gram Panchayat and various other Govt. Departments of Wimberlygunj conducted a cleanliness drive at Wimberlygunj on 25.09.2019. The drive was flagged off by Mr. Murali Sankaar K, IFS, DFO, South Andaman. The main objective of the drive was to spread the message of importance of hygiene and cleanliness as a life style among the villagers. The participants cleaned the debris/ garbages dumped near road side area from PHC, Wimberlygunj to Divisional Forest Office at Wimberlygunj and collected around 15 bags full of garbage which was later transported to the designated dumping site. At the end, vote of thanks was proposed by its Organising Secretary Mr. Mohammed Ali.
