Port Blair, Sept 24: The State President, BJP, A & N Islands, Mr. Vishal Jolly, in a letter written to the Lt. Governor and Chief Secretary, A & N Islands on September 24, 2019, a copy of which has released to the press, has request for continuation of supply of Kerosene Oil till completion of process of LPG connection to all islands. He has mentioned in his letter that, the supply of LPG under the Pradha Mantri Ujjwala Yojna has not yet been completed and all the eligible villagers/persons have not yet received the benefit. It was agreed by the Chief Secretary, A & N Islands to supply small cylinders to overcome the kerosene problem of deep sea fishermen but it is also not supplied to fishermen. He also further mentioned, the M/s Priya Indane, the LPG authorized supplier is deliberately violating the intension of BJP lead central Government introduced Ujjwala Scheme by avoiding supplying LPG in BJP ruled panchayats in A&N Islands.
