On the auspicious occasion of Teachers’ Day, 2019 I pay my tributes to our former President Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan on his Birth Anniversary.
Teaching is one of the noblest professions in the world and teachers are the true nation builders. A teacher is the sum of wisdom, experience, kindness, discipline and compassion. Teaches play vital role in shaping and moulding the future of our children and also in developing our society in all aspects. They are the inspirational guides and mentors who nurture young minds and give expression to their hidden talents.
In the present world of advanced educational technologists, the teachers are also required to adopt novel methodologies and to learn new technologies to create pleasant and effective approach to teaching and learning process.
On this auspicious occasion, we all remember the contributions made by our leaders and academicians for the development of our nation. I express our gratitude to all the teachers across the A&N Islands and wish them all success on their contribution towards their Nation Building.
