Port Blair, Aug 30:The commuters/general public are hereby informed that due to prevailing inclement weather conditions, keeping in view the safety of the passengers and the vessel, the announced sailing programme may get disrupted at short notice leading to suspension or cancelation of the vessels in the Foreshore/Inter Island Sector at short notices. Therefore, the passengers and tourists are hereby advised to plan their journey suitably keeping adequate time in hand to avoid any inconvenience. Similarly, in the prevailing weather conditions, operation of Harbour/Vehicle ferry services between Chatham, Bambooflat, Phoenix Bay, Dundas Point, Panighat and other islands may also get disrupted/suspended in short notice depending upon the weather condition. Passengers can also get update/status of the vessels from the Information Counter at Phoenix Bay by using the Number 03192 – 245555/232714.
