Port Blair, Aug 27: Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Andaman and Nicobar Island organized various Programmes and events on the occasion of holy Janmashtami which is also the foundation day of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. All total, the Programmes were conducted in 61 places and Mandir of Port Blair, South Andaman, North & Middle Andaman, Campbell Bay and Little Andaman. To mark the occasion, a religious procession was organized from Krishna Mandir, Zero Point to Campbell Bay Jetty on 23rd August, 2019.
The events like Quiz competition on Life and Teaching of Bhagwan Krishna, Ramayana & Mahabharata, Bharatiya culture, way of life and General Knowledge were the contents. Drawing competition and Kids Fancy Dress competition on Bhagwan Krishna were also the part of the events.
