Port Blair, Aug 14: Two Police Officers of Andaman & Nicobar Police have been awarded with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service on the occasion of Independence–Day-2019.

Shri. Jai Kishan, DANIPS Joined Delhi Police in the year of 1982 as a Sub-Inspector and posted in A&N Police as Dy.SP since September-2018. In recognition of his unblemished records, continuous excellent and dedicated performance and professionalism, Shri Jai Kishan, Dy.SP (Estt.), PHQ has been conferred with President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Shri Abdul Rahman Joined A&N Police in the year of 1994 as a Police Constable. He has shown laudable performances in all fields. He has been awarded with several Commendation Certificates and cash rewards for his commendable devotion to his duties. In appreciation of his good work and dedication rendered throughout his service carrier he has been awarded with Police Medal for meritorious service.
