Port Blair, July 31: The A&N Islands State Name Authority chaired by Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Lt. Governor, A & N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency met today to deliberate on the names for hitherto unnamed 21 Islands. Shri Chetan Bhushan Sanghi, Chief Secretary, Shri Dependra Pathak, DGP, Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson PBMC, Shri Sanjib Kumar Mandal, Adhyaksh Zilla Parishad (SA) and other senior officers and public representatives were present on the occasion.
