Port Blair, July 22: On dated 22.07.19 on 16.30 hrs CISF Unit of Port Blair organised Van Mahotsav at CISF family accommodation at Brookshabad where all the CISF personnel including their families and wards assembled to make the event successful.
A total 150 persons assembled there including CISF, PMB staff and civilians to carry out 100 saplings plantation at Brookshabad family complex.
The event was carried out under the directions and supervision of Mr. Jitendra Jatoliya, Deputy Commandant, CISF and assisted by unit Sanrskshika head Ms Kalpan Verma.
The Chief Guest of the programme was Mr. H.S. Pabla, Assistant Eng. PMB, who appreciated the initiative a lot however DC, CISF urged to all participants for conserving the plants and to motivate others to do the same so that we can save the trees and other natural resources for a better and healthy future. He also affirmed that the drive will not stop here. “We will continuously plant as much saplings as we can and will also conserve them till they can survive themselves,” he said.
