Port Blair, July 15: A 30 year old man was arrested by the police team of Car Nicobar under POCSO Act after the police team got information that the man had tried to molest a 16 year old girl of Car Nicobar.
According to details last month the accused reportedly gave lift to the girl in his bike, where he tried to molest the girl. The girl anyhow ran away and informed parents. The parents were not sure where to and how to lodge complaint in this regard. Later when information reached police the team investigated the matter and arrested the accused. The accused has been sent to Judicial Custody, it is learnt.
