Port Blair, June 30: A lady namely Mrs. Kamla Devi, aged 62 year died when huge amount of earth came gushing inside her hut due to land sliding at Nimbu Bagicha area of Chouldari.
According to details the incident took place at around 6.30 PM yesterday when the lady was alone inside her house while her children were in neighbourhood. By the time her children brought her out, it was too late. The lady was declared brought death at Hospital.
Meanwhile, Pradhan of Chouldari village, Mr. Mohan Halder has demanded early release of ex-gratia for the keens of the deceased.
