Port Blair, Jun 20: In a function held at Haddo, Ward No:01 a Multipurpose stage was inaugurated by Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council in the presence of Mr. S. Karunakaran, Ward Councillor. The Officers, officials and general public of that area were also present during the inaugural functions. Speaking on the occasion Smt. Anusia Devi, Chairperson, PBMC stated that this was a long pending demand of the populace of Ward No.01 to have a Multipurpose stage. The Ward Councillor also thanked the Chairperson and officers of the Council for completing the stage in a time bound manner, in a release Chairperson, PBMC said.
