Port Blair, Jun 19: Kala Kendra – a Society under the Department of Art & Culture is organizing a “Short Movie Making Competition’’. The competition is open to all. Movie should be based on the theme Nature in Andaman, Cultural & Architectural Heritage in Andaman, Cultural Harmony in Andaman, Famous personalities in Andaman, Values in teaching of Mahatma Gandhi, Swachh Bharat. The duration of the short play should be five to seven minutes. Soft copy of the short movie should be submitted to the Office of Kala Kendra, Directorate of Art & Culture, Cellular Jail Complex before 20.07.2019.
The movie must be original and should not violate any provisions of the Indian Copyright Act. The Prize winning Short Movie shall be decided by a panel of eminent Jury on the basis of good story/script, quality, presentation and other technical requirements. The last date of submission of application is on or before 20.07.2019. Attractive prizes will be given to winners.
