Port Blair, Jun 14: On 11/06/19, a coordination meeting was organized by Police with the SCUBA Operators, PRI members, Travels Operators, Boat Operating staff of Shaheed Dweep under the chairmanship of SDPO Swaraj Dweep, Mr. Prashant Chaudhary in presence of SHO PS Shaheed Dweep at Hawa Bill Resort, Shaheed Dweep.
During the meeting, the stake holders of Tourism industry were advice to follow the terms & conditions/law of the land in true spirit and letter for ensuring the safety and security of the tourists for maintaining good atmosphere in the island. They were assured of all the possible assistance from Police in case of need by them. The meeting ended with the decision to have such meetings in future also to improve police public relation, in a release SP, South Andaman District said.
