Port Blair, Jun 07: To see the Cleanliness and Sanitation under Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, today Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Naresh Chander Lal visited the Primary Health Centre Tusnabad and interacted with out/in patients as well as attendees and staff of the PHC and urged them to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at the PHC and also at their respective localities.
Mr. Lal also urged them to take precautions of the diseases which spread during rainy season in these islands like Andaman Fever and Malaria etc.
He requested the in-charge of the PHC to have mike publicity in the entire village for the prevention of such diseases which spreads during Rainy season.
Dr. Ruby, Dr. Vajpayee and Pradhan Meethakhari Mr. Mohammed Shafique accompanied Mr. Lal during the visit.
