Port Blair, May 30: The CPR Environmental Education Centre, Port Blair in collaboration with Vidya Yuva Kendra Foundation observed International Day for Biological Diversity 2019 at VYKF Premises. The theme of this year celebration is “Our Biodiversity, our food, our health”. The programme was organized for youths.
Shri. Sukumar Das, Instructor, Forest Training institute, Wimberlygunj highlighted the importance of Biodiversity relevant with well-being. Shri. A. Gopal, Project Officer, CPREEC, Port Blair explained about Food biodiversity for healthy and diverse diet. Continuation of the programme, video clippings were shown to the participants regarding the biodiversity. Earlier Mrs. Ganeeta Balaji, Sr. Faculty, VYKF welcomed the gatherings.
