Port Blair, May 15: A youth of Machi Line area of Port Blair today allegedly attempted to commit suicide by consuming Phenyl. As per reports following certain personal problems, the 24 year old youth, took this extreme step but as he swallowed less amount of Phenyl, the youth was released from hospital by evening itself, after proper check-up.
