Port Blair, Apr 16: A lady of Guptapara area today attempted to immolate herself and sustained nearly 94 percent burn injuries. According to sources the lady, mother of one toddler and one infant, took this extreme step this evening, following some domestic issues with her in-laws. The first baby of the lady is 2 year and six month old while the second baby is just six month old.
After the incident, the lady was immediately shifted to G B Pant Hospital for expert medical care. Police is further investigating the matter.
